If you are wondering if MP3-audio and podcasting is going to just be a fad, if it will be displaced by video, the answer seems to be no. With these rates of sales, personal audio players will soon become (are already?) as normal as cell phones. In fact, many cell phone models are now supporting MP3 downloads and playback.
